We need to find a new name for legal, EAPC compliant e-bikes, to separate them perceptually from the bastardised variants of DIY made, speed pedelecs and electric motorcycles. Any suggestions ?

Misleading reporting is damaging public perception of everything. e-bikes are no exception.  Pedal cycles get a pretty bad rap in the media in particular the Telegraph where they try to run an anti-cycling war on motorists article every day on the front page.

A cry for accurate eporting from the modern "journalists"!? Hell'll freeze over first. Facts, truth and other such stuff is far too olde-fashioned for today's mobs of avid thrill seeking newspap consumers. Sensations of shock, horror, fear, hate and general hysteria are required. This means there must be scapegoats, pariahs, villains and other such. Ban 'em or burn 'em! Fetch the pitchforks!!
