Top Gear Ltd Electric Bikes, located in the Cornish town of Penryn, announced early on Saturday morning that they had suffered a ram raid, with significant damage done to the shop frontage. Just a short while later the shop managed to begin trading, and revealed that just one e-bike had been stolen without its accompanying charger. The red Focus Paralane was also equipped with a tracker, that was not working due to the bike being without power when it was stolen.
One of the thieves also left a distinctive hat behind at the scene. It's unclear why they left with just one bike, and the fact it was stolen without the charger will hopefully make it even more difficult to sell on without suspicions arising.
