I'd never  buy by brand or shop just take each product individually and compare to what else is available. Yes Decathlon should be cheaper as just like Halfords they buy directly from factories and retail themselves but like any shop margins vary. Perhaps this is a best selling product and they really aren't motivated to lower prices. Sadly I'm too heavy for Decathlon weight limits anyway so have to look elsewhere the company has also had a huge amount of frame recalls so personally I wouldn't class them as sturdy unless you are 60kg.
