Tern are going to give away five of their GSD e-cargo bikes to non-profit organisations, with applications being taken now and the winners announced in August.
Tern give away at least 1% of their net profit to environmental or social causes each year, and for 2019 they've decided to change the way they give back by offering their products to help people and businesses directly rather than donate cash. Tern say: "We believe it's important to support individuals and groups that are working towards a better, healthier planet."
The five GSD e-cargo bikes (read Dave's glowing review of one above) will be given to deserving non-profit organisations to help them carry out daily tasks without the need to sit in traffic with a polluting car. To apply, candidates have to submit an online form explaining why their company needs a GSD to improve their daily operations.
Submissions are being accepted until the 5 June 2019, and the five winners will be announced in August. It's open to organisations based in any country the GSD is currently sold, so if you think it would help your company or know one that would benefit, the application form can be found here.
