You’ll find our Manchester shop at the top of the Curry Mile on Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, close to the Fallowfield Loop Cycleway.

Curiously, this shop was a Jaguar car showroom before it became a branch of the Bike Co-op in 2007. Now dedicated to displaying a fantastic range of bicycles, cycle clothing and cycling equipment, backed up by honest, enthusiastic, co-operative service (including our professional in-house cycle repair service) our Rusholme shop lives up to the slogan we coined in the 1990s – The Revolution Will Not Be Motorised.

Although the sign above the door reads Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op, our Manchester shops are staffed by local cycling enthusiasts, ably managed by Alex Amato – a cycling all-rounder, equally at home on a mountain, commuter or BMX bike – who came to Manchester in 2007 from Washington DC, via a 5-year stint as the Bike Co-op’s deputy Edinburgh shop manager.
