A year since launching their first full suspension electric mountain bike, Norco are back with the Sight VLT electric 29er featuring a super precise set-up, Shimano STEPS motor system and geometry optimised for holding your line on tricky trails.
Available exclusively at Evans Cycles in the UK, Norco say the Sight VLT represents their next generation of full-suspension e-mountain bikes, featuring their recently-launched Ride Aligned geometry system which matches each individual bike to the rider using a proprietary app - this means riders no longer have to "squeeze into the same old frame of reference" and can find their own angle on their ideal bike set-up, say Norco.
Norco say the Sight VLT 29 features the same performance and handling as the non-electric Sight, able to climb authoritatively and provide high-speed confidence to the rider through "the complete integration of rider fit, frame geometry, suspension kinematics and precise bike setup."
The bike has been engineered around the Shimano STEPS e-MTB drive unit with in-tube battery technology, offering an efficient power management system and the option to extend the range using a range extender (sold separately), to give you between 50-70% more battery capacity for super long days on the trails.
Spec highlights include robust 29 inch wheels with Maxxis Double Down casing tyres, 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and lightweight, stiff frames in both carbon and aluminium versions.
The Sight VLT 29 is available in five versions - the C1 (£6995), C2 (£5,995), C3 (£5,295), A1 (£4,695), and A2 (£4,095), with all 'C' versions coming with full carbon frames and the 'A' versions featuring (you guessed it) aluminium frames.
