It all began when Ampler asked the public to submit ideas for their ultimate epic cycling route up to 1000km... and after picking four favourites and kitting them out with Ampler e-bikes to do the job, the winners' stories are starting to filter through - including Rebecca and Ian in the video below, who rode 900km from Palermo to Sorrento.
Inspired to take up a healthier lifestyle, the husband and wife are now committed to a routine that includes regular exercise and healthy eating, with Ian having lost 50kg. With Ampler choosing them out of 3,700 applications, their 'test ride' was what Ampler called "a celebration of a successful transformation and an intent to show that anyone can switch to a healthier life."
