The UK e-bike brand Volt have expanded their range with the launch of the new Apex and Regent, plus a 2020 version of the Connect.
Volt say these latest additions "combine stylish design with cutting-edge technology", and are equipped with high-end components throughout the range.
The Apex is a hardtail e-mtb, with an enhanced strengthened frame that is designed to be lightweight and coming equipped with a motor system powered by a Sony 504w battery. This can take you over 80 miles on one charge, pretty impressive indeed - the price is £2,899.
The Regent, priced at £2,399, is inspired by Volt's existing Burlington, with plenty of upgrades including Shimano’s STEPS E6100 motor system. It has suspension forks for a more comfortable ride, bluetooth and wireless control abilities plus an easy step-through frame for a pleasureable ride experience.
The Connect also has Sony's 504w battery with an 80 mile range, and is offered as a smart-looking hybrid capable of commuting or mixed terrain jaunts. It has a Shimano STEPS E6100 motor system and Shimano's Alfine hydraulic disc brake system for powerful stopping whatever the weather. You also get lights, mudguards and a frame lock thrown in for the £2,399 asking price.
You can test ride Volt bikes at their showroom in London Bridge, and their bikes are also available online or in various other retailers throughout the UK. To check out the full Volt range and find out more, you can head over to their website.
