Batteries have been stolen from a number of Voi e-scooters in Sandwell in the West Midlands. The firm has bemoaned the vandalism and said the scooters would be repaired.
The Birmingham Mail reports that eight scooters were found without batteries on a path off Trinity Way on the morning of July 6.
"Every single battery was gone," said Sammy Geddes, who found them. "I just think it's a shame for the community."
A Voi spokesman said: "Our local team already collected these scooters and they are currently in our warehouse being repaired.
“At Voi, every Voi scooter counts, and we are against all acts of vandalism. We continue to encourage people to report anti-social behaviour or misuse via our report a scooter page.
The incident echoes a similar incident earlier this year when batteries were taken from a number of Zipp e-scooters in Taunton. On that occasion, police were reported to be investigating.
