Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi have been trying their hand at e-bikes in recent years... and as is apt for a brand who usually specialise in pocket-sized devices, their latest creation is an e-bike so tiny it folds up smaller than an A3 sheet of paper!
The least e-bike-looking e-bike ever? Capri e-bikes look like vintage commuters
As you will see in the cheesy promo video above, the Himo H1 'transforms' into a rideable micro-mobility vehicle from a tiny square, with a folding aluminium frame, bars and wheels. The wheels are scooter sized and total wheelbase of the bike when unfolded is 67cm.
Suitable mostly for last mile journeys and short hops to the shops, the Himo H1 has a top assisted speed of 18km/h and the battery range is 20km to "meet the travel needs of most people", say Xiaomi. There is a built-in display to show you your remaining battery life and also integrated LED lights for safe night time riding. The brushless DC hub motor has a 180 watt power output.
The Himo H1 is shipping to the UK, and we've found one on sale for a shade over £550 here - you can also check out Xiaomi's electric bike website for more info.
