Monaco-based Stajvelo have unveiled what they claim is the first e-bike with a frame made out of advanced injection-moulded composites. They've used a long fiber-reinforced Xencor polyarylamide compound from composite company Solvay on their RV01 model, and the bike also comes with Continental's automatic transmission and an axial hydraulic braking system.
Stajvelo chose Solvay's compound for the frame because of its blend of suitable attributes for, including superior toughness and smooth aesthetics. Their CEO Thierry Mani told Composites World: "Stajvelo’s e-bike design embodies the hard-to-achieve balance between form and function, due in part to Xencor PARA’s unique combination of properties."

The RV01 also has some impressive spec choices, with the star of the show being the Continental 48V-Revolution automatic transmission, that changes your gears for you and provides assist up to 25km/h.
