Riese & Muller are upping their safety standards for 2019, by supplying all their Homage and Delite e-bike models with brake lights at the rear and main beams at the front.
Review: Riese & Muller Multicharger Vario
The light integration is an extension of Riese & Muller's Control Technology safety package, which includes a highly responsive suspension system and an active rear swing arm to increase rider control and stability. The new lighting technology not only offers better illumination for riders in the dark and/or poor weather conditions, but the headlight flasher function also gives you the option to alert drivers of your presence. Riese & Muller say the lights are comparatively powerful to those in cars, and the front beam is easy and intuitive to use with the press of a button on the handlebar.
Additionally, Riese & Muller will now be including daytime running lights across their entire model range. They will also give customers the option to spec the Bosch eBike ABS system. This enables more stable braking by regulating the pressure of the front brake during difficult manoeuvres, and minimising wheel lift at the rear.
