Eskute is adding another four bikes to its range. The direct-to-consumer brand – which always seems to do a good job of ensuring affordability – is releasing both rear and mid-motor versions of a new electric city bike and an e-MTB.
We’ve had a look at a couple of Eskute’s e-bikes in the last 12 months.
From next month, these will be supplemented by two more Bafang rear hub motor e-bikes: the Polluno, a step-through city e-bike; and the Netuno, a commuter e-bike that’s specced to cope with a bit of off-road stuff.
Eskute are promising upgrades to the display and power with both e-bikes featuring a backlit LED screen, a new speed sensor and improved performance.
Both bikes should offer more range than their predecessors as well as they’ll sport 522Wh batteries compared to 360Wh for the Wayfarer and 450Wh for the Voyager.
Both bikes are currently listed at £1,149 on Eskute’s website, discounted from £1,199.
Intriguingly, both of these bikes will be followed by ‘Pro’ versions built around Bafang M410 mid-motors. Eskute estimate these will become available in late April to mid-May with prices again looking very reasonable. The website has the Polluno Pro at £1,699, discounted from £1,799, and the Netuno Pro at £1,799, discounted from £1,899.
