E-bike fans will be spoiled for choice at this year’s Cycle Show at Birmingham's NEC, with top names in the industry present: including Bosch, Continental Bicycle Systems and Shimano STEPs... and we've secured a special 10% discount for eBikeTips readers!
The UK’s largest cycling exhibition will take place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th September 2017, and in its 16th year will be bigger than ever before.
A celebration of all things bike-related, the event will cater for every type of cyclist; from road, MTB and BMX to leisure, urban and e-bike riders. More than 300 exhibitors from across the cycling industry and beyond are in attendance, with a host of live shows and cycling experiences to engage and entertain the visitors throughout the course of the show. The Cycle Show is an important mark in the calendar for many cycling brands who are launching new products, and it’s one of the first opportunities for everyone to see what’s new in the cycling industry.
For those who fancy their hand at electric mountain biking, Bosch is back with the UK’s first ever indoor e-MTB track, offering a range of incredible e-MTB brands to test. With 400 tons of earth, wooden sections, banked corners and lots of moguls, it isn’t to be missed. GoPro will be on hand at the e-MTB track to loan track users action cameras, and assist with editing their footage in their pop-up editing suite.
Adding to the e-bike experience this year, Shimano STEPs will have over 100 different e-bike models available for testing at their e-bike village, with brands including AMPS, Cube, Haibike and KTM.
The Cycle Show is also packed with child-friendly attractions for the young bikers including the Ridgeback Kid’s Test Track, with demonstrators on-hand to give children the best experience, the Islabikes Kid’s Demo Track and the British Triathlon Trust’s Kid’s Dry Tri, giving children the opportunity to try their hand at a dry triathlon (run/cycle/row).
As well as all the latest and greatest bikes to ogle at and try out, there are also seminars from industry experts and famous faces in the cycling world on the Wattbike stage, offering invaluable experience and cycling advice.
