You may have noticed that e-bikes and e-scooters cost a bob or two. While an e-bike in particular isn’t something you buy on a whim, if you do have a pretty decent idea what you’re after, Black Friday can be a very good time to buy as there are some serious deals out there. Here’s a few we’ve spotted. (We’ll add to this page if we find any more.)
Black Friday officially takes place on November 25, but as with all commercial events, the actual starting point seems to edge earlier and earlier each year. In most cases deals will also run until at least ‘Cyber Monday’ (November 28).
It’s all a bit hollow and dispiriting, but at the same time… you know… bargains!
10% off e-bikes at Halfords
Halfords have got 10% off a whole bunch of their e-bikes, ranging from the super-low-budget Assist (now £584) to the Boardman ADV 8.9E e-road bike, which is down from £2,799 to £2,519.

£650 off the Rad Power RadRhino 6 Plus and £300 off the RadRunner 1
Rad Power's e-bikes offer hard-to-beat value at the best of times, so we're quite surprised to see a discount this big. The RadRhino 6 Plus - the firm's flagship 'everyday' bike - is currently available for just £1,099. Buy it here.
The RadRunner 1 meanwhile is available for £899. This is a really good deal. Read our RadRunner review if you want a bit more detail, but basically you'd normally struggle to find a viable e-cargo bike for anything like this price. Buy it here.
£300 off Mycle e-bikes
We unfortunately haven’t tested any of the three Mycle e-bikes that are on offer, but we’re big fans of stablemate the Mycle Cargo, which features in our guide to the best electric cargo bikes.
The Cargo is an incredibly good value bike and we feel pretty confident that a £300 discount means much the same can be said about the Climber (down to £899), Comfort and Cadence (both £1,299).
Up to £900 off the Cowboy 3 e-bike
While it’s now superseded by the Cowboy 4, the Cowboy 3 is currently selling for barely half the price you’d have had to pay for it only last year.
While it has a couple of flaws – such as the fact it only comes in one rather large frame size – it’s a great-looking and simple-to-use bike. It’s available from £1,090 with reducing discounts, the sooner you want it. Buy it here.
£350 off the Hygge Vester Lite at Decathlon
We have to be honest, we don’t know too much about the Hygge Vester Lite, which is available through Decathlon for £949.
It’s one of those fat-tyred folding adventure bikes that you can stick in the boot of your car. It’s got a rear hub motor, a reasonably-sized 360Wh battery and a “strong solid build” according to the blurb. Buy it here.
£100 off the Eskuta KS450 e-scooter
We recently reviewed the UK-made Eskuta KS450. It's well-built, relatively light and rides well. It also features a removable battery - which isn't something you'll always find on an e-scooter.
Usual spiel at this point: at the time of writing, it is illegal to use an e-scooter on public roads unless the vehicle is part of one of the government approved share schemes that are in operation up and down the country. While they are set to be legalised through the creation of a new low-speed, zero-emission vehicle category, we don't yet know exactly when this will happen or what the exact technical requirements will be.
The Eskuta KS450 normally sells for £469.99 but it's currently available for £369.99 from Very.
£100 off Pure Air Pro e-scooter
One of the inclusions in our guide to the best e-scooters, the Pure Air Pro boasts a sturdy frame and slightly larger wheels than many of its rivals, providing a smoother ride over rougher ground.
