OMG.  Price needs to be 1/3 of that.  Its competing with full blown cars at that price.  DI2 seems unecessary for a start.

For instance a Renault Twizy with doors costs £13,500.  Ok you giving up the convenience of using a bike lane but getting a passenger seat, plus 80-100km range.  "Proper" Electric cars start around 20k.

I also have a suspicion that at rush hour you'll be as popular as a turd in the bath in a cycle lane in one of these.
